Hajtóvadászat, also known as drag hunting, is a form of hunting in which a scent is deliberately laid along a predetermined trail and canines (and occasionally riders or drivers) are instructed to follow that scent. The trail is usually made from compounds that mimic the scent of wild game, allowing participants to pursue the trail similarly to a traditional hunt. Because the scent is artificial rather than coming from live quarry, hajtóvadászat is often classified as a non‑herbivore hunt.
