elektrofotografista
Elektrofotografista is a term used in some languages to denote a professional who works with electrophotography, an imaging technique based on electrostatic charges on a photoconductive surface and subsequent development with toner. The core process, historically known as xerography, emerged in the mid-20th century and became widely used for document copying and printing. In a typical electrophotographic workflow, a drum or belt coated with photoconductive material is charged, then exposed to light that represents the image to be reproduced. The exposed areas lose charge, creating a latent image, which is then developed with toner particles. The toner is transferred to paper and fused to form a durable print.
An elektrofotografista may work in reprography, printing facilities, archives, or digitization labs, operating and maintaining equipment
Educational backgrounds vary from technical school programs in graphic arts or printing technology to broader degrees
