Bezterminowa is a Polish adjective meaning “without a fixed end date” or “open-ended.” It is used to describe arrangements, contracts, or plans that do not have a predetermined termination date. In everyday usage, bezterminowa contrasts with contracts of fixed term (na czas oznaczony) and is commonly applied to agreements that last until one party ends them under agreed conditions.

In employment law, the most familiar form of bezterminowa is the employment contract on an indefinite term (umowa o pracę na czas nieokreślony). Such contracts provide ongoing employment with termination possible under notice and statutory protections for employees. The opposite form is a fixed-term contract (umowa o pracę na czas określony), which ends automatically at the end of the agreed period unless renewed.
