Anti-Jedi is a term used to describe individuals or groups who oppose the Jedi Order, its philosophy, and its methods within the Star Wars universe. This opposition can stem from various motivations, including political disagreements, personal grievances, or fundamental ideological conflicts with the Jedi's role as peacekeepers and guardians of the Republic.

Throughout galactic history, entities like the Sith have been the most prominent anti-Jedi forces, actively seeking to destroy the Order and usurp its influence. Their opposition is rooted in a direct conflict of ideologies, with the Sith embracing the dark side of the Force and seeking power, contrasting with the Jedi's adherence to the light side and their commitment to service.

Beyond the Sith, other factions and individuals have exhibited anti-Jedi sentiments. Some political factions within the Republic may have viewed the Jedi's significant power and autonomy with suspicion or resentment, particularly during times of perceived Jedi overreach or failure. Separatist movements, such as the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, often portrayed the Jedi as agents of a corrupt Republic rather than true peacekeepers.

On a more personal level, individuals who have suffered at the hands of Jedi, or who believe the Jedi are hypocritical or flawed in their actions, can also be considered anti-Jedi. These perspectives often highlight the Jedi's failures or the tragic consequences of their interventions, fueling a desire to see the Order diminished or dismantled.
