Workingmens
Workingmens refers to a broad category of voluntary associations, typically named with the possessive “Workingmen’s,” that emerged in industrializing societies during the 19th and early 20th centuries. These organizations took the form of clubs, institutes, libraries, and social halls designed to serve working-class men and, in many cases, their families.
