Vércukorglikémia

Vércukorglikémia, also known as hypoglycemia, is a medical condition characterized by an abnormally low level of blood glucose, typically below 4 millimoles per liter. This condition can occur in anyone, but it is more common in people with certain medical conditions, such as diabetes, or in those who take medications that lower blood sugar levels.

Hypoglycemia can be caused by a variety of factors, including excessive insulin or oral hypoglycemic medication use, impaired glucose production by the liver, or excessive glucose utilization by the body. It can also be caused by external factors, such as skipping meals or fasting, physical exercise, or drinking alcohol.
