Väsymismurtumien
Väsymismurtumat, also known as stress fractures, are tiny cracks in a bone that develop over time due to repetitive force or overuse. They are common in athletes, particularly runners, and in individuals who suddenly increase the intensity or duration of their physical activity. The bones most frequently affected are in the lower extremities, such as the tibia, metatarsals, and calcaneus, though they can occur in other bones as well.
The symptoms of a väsymismurtuma typically include pain that worsens with activity and improves with rest.
Diagnosis usually involves a physical examination and imaging tests. While X-rays may not show a stress fracture
Treatment for väsymismurtumat primarily involves resting the affected bone and avoiding activities that cause pain. This
