Visualstypography

Visualstypography is a field within typography and graphic design that emphasizes the visual form of text as a primary design element. It studies how type interacts with layout, imagery, color, and space to shape perception, mood, and meaning beyond the literal words.

Practitioners treat typography as a visual language. Visualstypography includes custom lettering, typographic experimentation, integration of type with images, and motion-enabled typography such as kinetic and interactive text.
