Versionet

A typical versionet workflow uses a version manifest to record dependencies, build inputs, environmental constraints, and release notes, while CI systems strive for reproducible builds and signed, immutable artifacts.

Benefits and challenges. The approach improves reproducibility, facilitates audits and Rollbacks, and enhances dependency management. However, it can introduce additional complexity, require more metadata maintenance, and demand organizational changes to workflows and tooling.
