Vegaaniset is a Finnish term used to describe things related to veganism. As an adjective, it typically modifies nouns such as tuotteet (vegaaniset tuotteet), ruokavalio (vegaaninen ruokavalio) or elämäntapa (vegaaninen elämäntapa). In marketing and media the form vegaaniset is common to indicate that a product or service contains no animal products. The corresponding noun is rarely used on its own; speakers usually refer to veganism as “veganismi” and to vegan products as “vegaaniset tuotteet.”

Relationship to veganism: Veganism is a lifestyle and philosophy that excludes all animal products for ethical, environmental, or health reasons.
