VIVeen

VIVeen is a Japanese singer‑songwriter and producer who emerged on the music scene in the early 2020s. Born on 12 March 1998 in Osaka, Japan, she began studying piano and vocal techniques at a young age. After graduating from Osaka College of Music, VIVeen initially worked as a session vocalist before launching her solo career in 2021.

VIVeen’s debut single, “Neon Echo,” was released digitally in June 2021 and quickly gained traction on streaming platforms, reaching the top ten on the Japan Hot 100 chart. The track’s blend of synth‑pop arrangements, crisp vocal harmonies, and lyrical themes of urban solitude established her signature style, which combines contemporary J‑pop with electronic and indie‑rock influences.

Following the success of her debut, VIVeen released her first full‑length album, *Echoes of Dawn*, in November 2022. The record received positive reviews for its cohesive production and was praised for its experimentation with lo‑fi beats and acoustic instrumentation.
