UCSCs
UCSCs is an initialism that can refer to more than one concept, depending on the discipline. In biomedical research, UCSCs is most often used to denote umbilical cord–derived stem cells, but it is also used in some contexts to mean undifferentiated stem cell cultures. The term is not standardized across fields, so definitions should be clarified in each source.
Umbilical cord–derived stem cells (UCSCs) are stem cells harvested from the umbilical cord and related tissues,
Undifferentiated stem cell cultures (UCSCs) refer to cell populations maintained in an undifferentiated state for research.
