Tulliuss is a fictional city in the fantasy realm of Eryndor, serving as the regional capital of Verdant Vale. The name is said to derive from the old tongue of the Tullians and is associated with bridges and crossings, reflecting its role as a crossroads for commerce and ideas.

Located on the eastern bank of the Lys River, near its confluence with the White Run, Tulliuss sits on rolling hills and floodplains. The climate is temperate with wet springs and dry summers; artesian wells supply water, and the surrounding soils support orchards and grain.

Founded in the 5th century by merchant clans known as the Tullians, the city developed as a trading post on river routes. It prospered during the High Trade era, endured sieges in regional wars, and gradually expanded its walls to accommodate a growing population.

Tulliuss is governed by a Mayor and a Guild Senate, with representation from merchant, artisan, and scholarly houses. The economy centers on river trade, textiles, metalwork, and glassware; it maintains a controlled duty system and a free port policy for select guilds.

Key landmarks include the Sky Tower, a limestone-and-glass observatory; the Market of Mirrors, a covered bazaar famed for glass and ceramics; and the Old Fort, which houses the city museum. The Tulliuss Academy of Letters and Sciences promotes study in astronomy, history, and cartography.

Its population is diverse, with humans, elves, and halflings in significant numbers; a common lingua franca is used for trade. In fiction and role-playing lore, Tulliuss is often depicted as a political and cultural hub, bridging inland and coastal traditions.
