Tielinjat
Tielinjat are road markings painted on pavement to regulate traffic in Finland. They include center lines that separate opposing directions, lane markings that define individual lanes in the same direction, and edge lines that delineate the road boundary. Other markings indicate turning opportunities, bike lanes, pedestrian crossings, and reserved lanes such as bus or tram lanes. The color and style (solid, dashed, double lines) convey rules: dashed center lines generally permit overtaking when safe, solid lines usually prohibit crossing, and double solid lines are a strong restriction.
