Temperaturerated is a term used in theoretical and applied science to describe systems whose properties are governed by engineered temperature fields to achieve stability, performance, or safety. The word blends temperature with regulation, reflecting a focus on thermal control as a primary design parameter.

In practice, temperatureration involves imposing controlled temperature profiles, gradients, or cyclic loads on materials or processes to influence outcomes such as phase stability, diffusion rates, or mechanical properties. It can be implemented through external heating, cooling, or embedded thermal elements, and often relies on feedback control to maintain target states.

In materials science, temperaturerated approaches aim to stabilize microstructures, suppress unwanted phase transformations, or tune hardness and toughness. In energy storage, temperature-optimized chemistries and battery management seek to maximize performance and lifespan. In building and electronic systems, temperatureration can improve reliability by maintaining components within safe operating temperatures.

The concept is still emerging and largely subdivided into discipline-specific practices, such as thermomechanical processing in metallurgy or thermal management in electronics.
