Taghudar
Taghudar is a small village located in the central part of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, situated at an elevation of approximately 700 meters above sea level. The population is estimated to be around 1,200 residents, predominantly belonging to the Pashtun ethnic group, with a mixture of Sunni Muslims and a small number of Ismaili Shia households. Historically, the village has been mentioned in early 20th‑century administrative records as a minor agricultural settlement; it gained wider attention during the Afghan conflicts of the 1990s when it was briefly the site of skirmishes between local militias and insurgent forces.
