Sääreosade
Sääreosade refers to the lower leg in Estonian, specifically the section of the leg between the knee and the ankle. This anatomical region is a crucial component of the human locomotor system, facilitating movement and weight-bearing. The primary bones in the sääreosade are the tibia and the fibula. The tibia, also known as the shinbone, is the larger, medial bone and bears most of the body's weight. The fibula is a thinner, lateral bone that provides stability and serves as an attachment point for muscles.
Numerous muscles reside within the sääreosade, allowing for a wide range of movements such as dorsiflexion
The sääreosade is also traversed by important blood vessels, including the anterior tibial artery and the posterior
