Szerepköralapú

Szerepköralapú, a Hungarian term, translates to "role-based" in English. It refers to a concept or system that organizes or defines entities, permissions, or functionalities according to predefined roles. This approach is widely used in various fields, most notably in information technology and organizational management.

In the context of information security, "szerepköralapú hozzáférés-vezérlés" (Role-Based Access Control or RBAC) is a common implementation. Here, access to resources, such as files or systems, is granted not directly to individuals but to roles. Users are then assigned to one or more roles, and their permissions are determined by the roles they hold. This simplifies access management, especially in large organizations, as permissions can be modified by changing role assignments rather than individually adjusting each user's access.

Beyond IT security, the "szerepköralapú" principle can be applied to project management, where team members are assigned roles with specific responsibilities. It can also be seen in educational settings, where students might be assigned roles in group projects. The core idea is to abstract individual identities and instead focus on the functions or responsibilities associated with a particular position or designation.
