Superfetch
Superfetch, also known as Sysmain on newer Windows versions, is a Windows service designed to improve application startup times and overall system responsiveness. It works by pre-loading frequently used applications and their data into RAM. When the system is idle, Superfetch analyzes which applications and files are most likely to be used next. It then reads these files from the hard drive and loads them into unused portions of RAM.
