Studdusporms are a type of fungal infection caused by the genus *Studdusporium*, a group of dimorphic fungi primarily affecting plants, particularly in agricultural and horticultural settings. These fungi are known for their ability to thrive in moist, warm environments, often causing significant damage to crops such as cereals, legumes, and grasses. The name "studdusporms" is not a widely recognized term in mycology but may refer to a colloquial or regional designation for infections caused by related fungal pathogens, such as those in the *Fusarium* or *Gibberella* genera, which share similar symptoms and ecological behaviors.
