Stresskällor, often referred to as stressors, are any internal or external factors that can trigger a stress response in an individual. These can range from minor daily annoyances to significant life events. Understanding common stresskällor is crucial for managing stress effectively.

External stresskällor commonly include work-related pressures such as deadlines, heavy workloads, and interpersonal conflicts with colleagues. Financial difficulties, including debt or job loss, are also significant external stressors. Relationship issues, such as arguments with a partner, family problems, or social isolation, can contribute to stress. Major life changes, both positive and negative, like marriage, divorce, the birth of a child, or the death of a loved one, can overwhelm coping mechanisms.
