Setanta
Setanta is a figure from Irish mythology, most prominently featured in the Ulster Cycle. He is a warrior of the Red Branch Knights of Ulster, known for his martial prowess and his ill-fated love for Emer. Setanta was the son of Súaltam, a chieftain of Ulster, and the sorceress Deichtine, who was the half-sister of King Conchobar mac Nessa. His name is often interpreted as meaning "the one who carries a thunderbolt" or "the swift one."
