Connacht
Connacht, or Cúige Chonnacht in Irish, is a historic and geographic province of Ireland located in the west of the island. It comprises five counties: Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, and Leitrim. The province features a rugged coastline along the Atlantic and inland landscapes such as Connemara and the Aran Islands. Galway is the largest city in Connacht.
