Sedáns
Sedáns, also known as sedans, are a common automotive body style characterized by a three-box configuration: separate compartments for the engine, passengers, and cargo. This distinct layout typically includes a hood at the front, a passenger cabin in the middle, and a trunk at the rear. Sedans usually have four doors, providing access to the passenger compartment, and a fixed B-pillar between the front and rear doors. The passenger cabin is enclosed by a metal roof.
The term "sedan" originated from a type of horse-drawn carriage that was enclosed and suspended on springs.
Sedans come in various sizes, ranging from compact and subcompact models to mid-size and full-size executive
