Rightaligned

Rightaligned refers to the arrangement of text, graphics, or other elements so that their right edges align with a common vertical boundary, typically the right margin. In typography, this is known as right alignment or right justification. It contrasts with left-aligned, centered, and justified alignment and is commonly used for languages that read from right to left, or for stylistic reasons in left-to-right languages.

In practice, right alignment can be achieved in print and digital media by setting text to align to the right, shifting blocks of content to the right, or using layout tools that place items at the end of their containers. In HTML and CSS, right alignment is typically implemented with properties such as text-align: right for inline text, or layout techniques like float: right, margin-left: auto in flexbox, or justify-content: end in modern CSS. In older HTML, the align="right" attribute was used but is now deprecated.

In software and UI design, rightaligned is often seen as a class name or option indicating that an element should be positioned on the right side. It may appear in documentation as rightAligned, right-aligned, or similar variants depending on the codebase or framework.

Accessibility considerations include ensuring sufficient contrast and avoiding excessive right alignment in long blocks of body text, which can hinder readability. Consistency within a document or interface is important to prevent confusion.
