Rezetis is a genus of fungi belonging to the family Sclerodermataceae. These fungi are characterized by their dark, leathery, and often globose fruiting bodies, known as basidiocarps. The outer layer of the basidiocarp, the peridium, is typically thick and tough, sometimes with a textured surface. When mature, the peridium often splits open to reveal a powdery mass of spores.
