Revierordnung

Revierordnung is a locally binding set of rules that govern the use of a hunting unit (Revier). It defines rights and duties of the landowner, the hunting authority, and the licensed hunting team within the area. The order serves to coordinate wildlife management, protect public safety, and regulate access and use of the land during hunting, shooting activities, and related operations. It is typically prepared by the owner of the hunting estate or by a hunting club in consultation with the local forestry or hunting authority and is anchored in the applicable state hunting law (Landesjagdgesetz). The text is usually posted on-site and made available to registered hunters.
