RClentokoneita
RClentokoneita, commonly written as RC-lentokoneita, refers to radio-controlled airplanes, a category within model aviation. These are aircraft flown by signals sent from a handheld transmitter to a receiver on the model, which then actuates servos to move control surfaces such as ailerons, elevator and rudder. Modern RC airplanes typically use lightweight airframes made from foam, balsa, fiberglass or carbon fiber, with propulsion provided by electric motors, nitro engines, or gasoline engines. The control system often includes a flight receiver, electronic speed controller, batteries, and servos, with 2.4 GHz radio links currently standard to minimize interference.
Flight versatility is a defining feature. Models range from beginner trainers and sport planes to aerobatic
