Procurarse

Procurarse is a pronominal Spanish verb meaning to obtain something for oneself, to secure or arrange for oneself, or to provide for oneself. It emphasizes that the subject takes action to acquire something, often involving effort, planning, or resourcefulness. The form derives from the verb procurar combined with the reflexive pronoun se (me, te, se, nos, os, se).

Usage and construction. Procurarse is used with a direct object that can be a noun (procurarse un trabajo, una vivienda, dinero) or with an infinitive phrase (procurarse tiempo para leer, procurarse un descanso). The reflexive pronoun marks that the acquisition benefits the subject. Typical forms include me procuré, te procuraste, se procuró, nos procuramos, os procurasteis, se procuraron.
