Pezsgkultúra refers to the culture surrounding the consumption and appreciation of sparkling wine, particularly in Hungary, where "pezsgő" is the Hungarian word for sparkling wine. This culture encompasses not just the act of drinking champagne or other sparkling wines but also the historical context, production methods, social traditions, and etiquette associated with it.

Historically, sparkling wine production in Hungary dates back to the mid-19th century, with Törley and other producers establishing significant wineries.
