Pestkowce is a Polish term used to describe a functional group of organisms that primarily feed on seeds or seed-containing plant tissues. In agricultural and storage contexts the word denotes pests whose feeding harms crops by reducing seed viability, causing cosmetic damage, or spoiling stored grains and seeds. It is not a formal taxonomic group; rather it includes several lineages of insects and, in some contexts, birds or small mammals that specialize in seeds.

Most pestkowce are granivores with life cycles tied to seed availability. Many species spend long larval stages inside seeds or seed-bearing fruits, which provides food and protection.
