Palletkisten

Palletkisten, also known as pallet crates, are crates designed to be loaded on a pallet to form a single, transportable unit. They provide containment, protection, and easy handling for goods in distribution networks. The size is typically chosen to fit common pallet footprints, with the European standard being 1200 × 800 mm.

They can be reusable for multi-trip logistics or disposed of after a single use, depending on material, construction and regulatory requirements.

Handling and standards: They are designed for movement with forklifts or pallet jacks, featuring standard entry points for handling equipment. In food, pharmaceutical or chemical sectors, crates may require cleaning and sanitization and compliance with relevant standards and traceability requirements.
