PEGTechnik is a privately held engineering and technology company headquartered in Munich, Germany. The company was founded in 1998 by former engineers of Siemens and initially concentrated on the design of precision pneumatic and hydraulic systems for industrial automation. Since its inception, PEGTechnik has expanded its product portfolio to include mechatronic components, custom control software and cloud‑based monitoring solutions for the manufacturing sector.

The firm is organized into three core divisions: Design & Development, Production & Manufacturing, and Integration & Services. The Design & Development team employs mechanical, electrical and software engineers who collaborate to produce modular component kits that can be adapted for a wide range of industrial applications. Production & Manufacturing operates a 25,000‑square‑meter facility in Erding that incorporates state‑of‑the‑art CNC machining, laser cutting and robotic assembly lines. In the Integration & Services division, PEGTechnik provides end‑to‑end project support, from initial feasibility studies and prototyping to on‑site installation and maintenance.

PEGTechnik has received several awards for its innovations in the field of automated material handling. In 2006 it was awarded the German Technical Innovation Award for its “SmartLift” hydraulic elevator system, and in 2014 it received the European Manufacturing Excellence Award for the “ModuFlow” fluid handling platform. The company also participates actively in industrial standards bodies, contributing to the development of the ISO/IEC 27949 standard for smart factory interfaces.

In addition to its commercial activities, PEGTechnik has partnered with the technical university of Berlin on research projects in the areas of lightweight materials and energy‑efficient actuators. The company employs approximately 180 staff worldwide, with technical centers in Madrid, Shanghai and Riyadh. Its global strategy focuses on delivering custom engineering solutions to clients in automotive, aerospace, food processing and pharmaceuticals, while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability and digitalization.
