Ninjask

Ninjask is a Bug/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It is known for its incredible speed and agility, often depicted as a swift, ninja-like creature. Ninjask evolves from Nincada starting at level 20, but only if the player has an open spot in their party and a Poké Ball in their bag. Upon evolution, Nincada evolves into Ninjask and the empty slot transforms into a Shedinja.

Ninjask's design features a white, insectoid body with large, dark eyes and a mask-like pattern on its face. It possesses wings that resemble those of a cicada, allowing for rapid flight. Its thin limbs and streamlined body contribute to its high speed. Ninjask is often found in forests and areas with abundant plant life.

In battle, Ninjask excels as a fast attacker and support Pokémon. Its signature ability, Speed Boost, increases its Speed stat by one stage at the end of each turn, making it progressively faster. This allows Ninjask to outspeed many opponents very quickly. It can also learn moves like Agility to further boost its Speed or Baton Pass to transfer its stat boosts to another Pokémon. Despite its speed, Ninjask has relatively low defenses, making it vulnerable to strong attacks.

Ninjask's Pokedex entries often describe its speed as being so great that it is difficult to follow with the naked eye. It is said to be able to move so quickly that it can disappear from sight in an instant. This emphasis on speed and elusiveness is a core aspect of its identity as a Pokémon.
