Nimravids
Nimravids were a family of extinct predatory mammals that lived in North America and Eurasia from the Eocene to the Miocene epochs. They are often referred to as "false saber-toothed cats" due to their superficial resemblance to modern saber-toothed cats like Smilodon, but they are not closely related to true felids.
