Nanolayertäytteet

Nanolayertäytteet, often translated as nanolayered fillers, are a class of composite materials composed of multiple, extremely thin layers, typically in the nanometer scale. These layers are stacked in an alternating fashion, creating a structure with a high aspect ratio. The individual layers can be made from various materials, including clays, oxides, nitrides, or even polymers, and their composition and thickness are precisely controlled during fabrication.

The unique layered structure of nanolayertäytteet gives rise to enhanced mechanical, thermal, and barrier properties when incorporated into a polymer matrix.
