Mtappisolu is a mountain in the fictional highland region of North Valdra on the continent of Aurelia. The summit reaches about 2,400 meters above sea level, presenting a rugged, pyramidal profile that is especially noticeable from the northern approaches. The name is of local origin and is commonly believed to refer to the mountain’s solitary silhouette.

Geography and geology: Mtappisolu lies in a transition zone between montane forests and alpine tundra. The peak and surrounding crags are primarily composed of granite and gneiss, with evidence of glacial sculpting from late Pleistocene activity. Small rock glaciers and extensive scree slopes characterize the upper flanks.

Ecology: Vegetation shifts from conifer-dominated forest on the lower slopes to alpine meadows and lichen-covered rocks near the summit. The area supports species such as the alpine chamois, golden eagle, and mountain hare, along with diverse insect life. The surrounding region is designated as a nature reserve to protect wildlife and minimize human impact.
