Important considerations include interface stability, versioning, and compatibility across module boundaries; dependency resolution and load order; isolation and fault containment to prevent module failures from cascading; and performance overhead from cross-module calls or serialization. Security concerns arise when loading third-party or untrusted modules, motivating sandboxing and least-privilege execution.
