Magnetterminallülitid

Magnetterminallülitid, also known as magnetic terminal switches or magnetic contactors, are electrical switching devices that use a magnetic field to operate. They are designed to open or close electrical circuits. The core principle involves the interaction of magnetic fields. Typically, a permanent magnet is used in conjunction with a coil. When current flows through the coil, it generates a magnetic field that either attracts or repels a movable contact, thereby completing or breaking the circuit.

These switches are often employed in situations where a non-contact operation is desired or where physical contact with the switching mechanism needs to be avoided. Applications can range from simple on/off switching to more complex control systems. The design allows for a high degree of reliability and a long operational life, as there are no mechanical parts that wear out through friction. They are also less susceptible to dust and environmental contamination compared to some other types of switches.

Magnetterminallülitid can be found in various forms, including normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) configurations, meaning the circuit is either open or closed by default when no magnetic field is applied. The strength of the magnetic field, the design of the contacts, and the materials used all influence the switching capacity and performance characteristics of the device.
