MMRDA
MMRDA stands for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. It is the apex planning and development authority for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region in the state of Maharashtra, India. The agency was established by the Government of Maharashtra under the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act to coordinate development and infrastructure planning across the region, which includes Mumbai and its surrounding districts such as Thane, Raigad, and Palghar.
