Kuparimediat refers to a class of electrical transmission lines that use copper as the primary conductor material. These are the most common types of cables used for transmitting electrical signals and power over relatively short to medium distances. The most well-known examples of kuparimediat include coaxial cables and twisted pair cables, often found in telecommunications, data networking, and audio-visual applications.

Coaxial cables consist of a central copper conductor surrounded by an insulating layer, which is then enclosed by a braided copper shield and an outer protective jacket.
