Kroppspositioner
Kroppspositioner, or body positions, refer to the arrangement and orientation of the human body in space. They encompass both static postures and transitional configurations, including how limbs and trunk are aligned and how joints are angled. In anatomy and biomechanics, positions are described relative to a reference frame, most commonly the anatomical position: standing upright, facing forward, with arms at the sides and palms facing forward. From this reference, joint angles and limb orientations are measured to characterize a posture or movement.
Basic categories include standing, sitting, lying, and kneeling, as well as lateral positions such as side-lying.
Applications span medicine, physical therapy, sports science, ergonomics, and occupational health. Clinicians assess kroppspositioner to diagnose
