The development of machine translation has a long history, with early efforts dating back to the mid-20th century. However, with the advent of increased computing power and vast digital text resources, machine translation has significantly improved. Therefore, for critical applications requiring high accuracy and cultural sensitivity, human post-editing or professional human translation remains essential.
