Jõuandurid

Jõuandurid, also known as force sensors or force transducers, are devices that convert a mechanical force into an electrical signal. This conversion allows for the measurement and monitoring of forces in a wide range of applications. The fundamental principle behind most jõuandurid involves a strain gauge or a piezoelectric element, which changes its electrical resistance or generates a voltage, respectively, when subjected to stress caused by an applied force.

There are several types of jõuandurid, each suited for different measurement needs. Strain gauge based sensors are very common and are often integrated into load cells. These sensors are sensitive to small changes in resistance caused by the deformation of a material under load. Piezoelectric sensors, on the other hand, generate an electrical charge when a force is applied, making them suitable for dynamic force measurements. Capacitive and resonant sensors are other types, offering different characteristics in terms of accuracy, frequency response, and operating conditions.

The applications for jõuandurid are extensive. They are used in industrial settings for weighing, force control in manufacturing processes, and quality testing. In the automotive industry, they are employed for testing vehicle components and monitoring tire forces. Scientific research, medical devices, and even consumer products like smart scales utilize jõuandurid to quantify force.
