Juoteaineiden
Juoteaineiden, commonly known as solder, are fusible metal alloys used to join metal workpieces together by melting and flowing into the joint between them. The solidified solder forms a strong electrical and mechanical bond. Solder alloys typically consist of tin and lead, though lead-free solders are increasingly prevalent due to environmental and health concerns. Other common alloying elements include silver, copper, antimony, and bismuth. The melting point of solder varies depending on its composition, ranging from relatively low-temperature solders (around 180°C or 356°F) to higher-temperature varieties.
The process of soldering involves cleaning the surfaces to be joined to remove oxides and other contaminants.
