Instrumenttipaneeli, or instrument panel, is the collection of instruments, indicators, and controls arranged on the surface of a machine to present operating information to the operator. It is a standard feature in aircraft cockpits, automobiles, ships, and many types of industrial equipment.

A panel typically includes analog gauges, digital displays, warning lamps, and control switches. Layout design aims to maximize readability, minimize reaction time, and reduce operator workload. Good instrument panels use consistent symbol conventions, adequate illumination, and color coding to convey status at a glance.

There are analog, digital, and hybrid panels. Early installations relied on mechanical gauges; newer systems use electronic instrument clusters and glass cockpits with multiple screens. Some panels present data redundantly or centrally through a single display to support procedures.

Examples include aircraft flight decks with airspeed, altitude, attitude, and heading indicators; automobile dashboards showing speed, RPM, fuel, and engine temperature; and ship bridge panels or factory control panels.

Design considerations emphasize safety and usability: redundancy for critical information, legibility under various lighting, glare management, and standardized symbols. Regulatory and industry standards guide layout, maintenance, and human factors in cockpit and control-room environments.

Maintenance involves regular calibration or verification of gauges, lamps or backlights replacement, software updates for digital displays, and functional testing. Proper maintenance ensures accurate readings and reliable operation of the equipment.
