Hyveesiin

Hyveesiin is a Russian supercomputer located in the Skolkovo Innovation Center near Moscow. The system was designed and manufactured by the Russian company Rostec, in partnership with the U.S.-based supercomputer manufacturer Cray.

The Hyveesiin supercomputer is a petascale system, capable of performing over 14 petaflops, or quadrillions of calculations per second. It is one of the fastest supercomputers in the world and serves as a key tool for Russian researchers and scientists.

The system consists of 1,953 nodes, each equipped with two AMD EPYC 7003 processors, for a total of 3,906 CPU cores. The nodes are connected by a Cray Slingshot interconnect, which provides high-speed communication between the nodes.

Hyveesiin is primarily used for various scientific and research applications, including simulations of complex systems, data analysis, and high-performance computing. It is also available for use by external researchers, either through remote access or in-person collaboration.

In addition to its scientific applications, the Hyveesiin system has also been used for various other purposes, including climate modeling, materials science, and seismic analysis. The system has been recognized as one of the world's top-performing supercomputers, according to various rankings and evaluations.
