Husárs
Husárs is a type of light cavalry historically associated with Eastern and Central Europe, particularly with the Kingdom of Hungary. The name itself is derived from the Hungarian word "huszár," referring to these mounted soldiers. Husárs were renowned for their distinctive dress, often featuring a dolman (a short, tight-fitting jacket) and a pelisse (a longer, fur-trimmed coat), both adorned with decorative braiding and frogging. Their headwear typically included a shako or a fur cap.
The origins of the Husárs can be traced back to the 15th century, emerging as irregular cavalry
Husárs played a significant role in various European conflicts, gaining particular prominence during the Napoleonic Wars
