Gyrdésállóságot

Gyrdésállóságot, a Hungarian term, translates to "torsional resistance" or "torsional strength" in English. It refers to the ability of a material or structure to withstand twisting forces, also known as torque. When a torque is applied, it tends to deform the object by causing one part to rotate relative to another. Gyrdésállóságot quantifies how effectively an object resists this deformation and maintains its original shape under such stress.

This property is crucial in various engineering applications. For example, in the design of shafts for engines, axles for vehicles, or structural beams subjected to twisting moments, understanding and ensuring adequate gyrdésállóságot is paramount. A material with high gyrdésállóságot can tolerate larger torques before exhibiting significant deformation or failure. Conversely, a material with low gyrdésállóságot will deform more readily and may fail at lower torque values.
