Galtee
The Galtee Mountains are the highest inland mountain range in Ireland, located in the south of the country across parts of County Limerick and County Tipperary in Munster. The range runs roughly northeast-southwest for about 25 kilometers and features a number of rounded granite peaks. Other notable summits include Galtybeg and several subsidiary peaks forming a rugged, highland landscape separated from the surrounding lowlands by the Glen of Aherlow to the west and drainage toward the River Suir to the east.
